I must admit, I thought this mode was pretty silly at first but it's surprisingly addictive to unlock a wealth of features then pose a bunch of fighters next to each other. Basically, you can pose the characters on bases which makes them look like amiibo. If that's not enough Jam Kuradoberi, Kum Haehyun, Raven, and Dizzy have new story scenes added to their respective Episode campaigns as well. If you enjoyed watching the epic (albeit non-interactive) story in Revelator, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that Rev 2 features a new storyline known as "After Story" that continues Revelator's plot. There are plenty of new moves to master, too, so playing around with the characters can be quite rewarding. This means that if you're comfortable with a handful of fighters in Revelator, you may have to change up your strategy if you want to stay on top of your game. In the end, it's great to have these two characters join the lineup to create a roster of 25 total fighters. It's interesting that both of these characters have opposite personalities as Baiken can be rather brazen while Answer is much stricter. Guilty Gear fans may remember Baiken from the original game as an unlockable character as well as from a few of the sequels and spin-offs. Thankfully, you can import all of your save data from Revelator so you can pick up where you left off but with more content to enjoy. Therefore, you won't be missing out on anything if you already own Revelator and decide to update it. Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 is basically the same core game as Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator.
